MSW is delighted to be offering a month-long summer program this year, from June 6 through July 1. We will have several programs running through the month of June.
Toddler: Our Summer Camp for Toddlers will be focused on exploring nature! Your little one will engage in what Maria Montessori called “Cosmic Education” through gardening, walking in nature, examining insects and other wildlife, and enjoying the outdoors.
Children’s House: Our Children’s House summer program includes outdoor work and activities, allowing for a more in-depth and nature-based study of zoology and botany. Fun doesn’t end there, though. There will also be time for cooking and outside water fun.
Elementary 1: This summer, the Elementary 1 children will explore the interconnectedness between nature and the Montessori cosmic curriculum. This will include time inside and outside with zoology, botany, meteorology, physical geography, mathematics and language. Activities will frequently be hands-on and interactive, such as building an island with landforms and water features outside, or utilizing simple tools inside and outside to explore simple machines and the concepts of physics.
Art - Children’s House through Elementary 1: Summer art is all about exploring and having fun with new techniques, materials, and ideas. Nature will bring its very own flavor of inspiration to their art. Your child’s creativity will be nurtured and inspired in this camp.
All day children should bring a lunch and water bottle. Snacks will be providedENROLLMENT FORM
