PTO NEWSLETTERS

Dear Montessori School of Westfield Parents,

A big thanks goes out to all those who helped with our fundraisers in 2008!  Although we have had only a few this year, the ones we had were successful.  We have earned $7,630.00!

• Of course, the Wine Tasting Event was awesome, thanks again to the John and Rachel Cate! 
• Thank you to all who helped with the Scholastic Book Fair, we have money now to buy books for our library! 
• Our ongoing fundraisers, like pizza and chess have had good participation.  Thank you!

 

Our next fundraiser will be Bulbs and Seeds.  This is a great opportunity to support our school and get your garden started.  Forty percent (45%) of the sales will go straight to the school, and the best part is the bulbs and seeds go straight to you!  We hope everyone will be excited to get a jump-start on spring and summer planting!

We are also planning our Spring Fling, so below you will find information on our next PTO meeting.  It is our hope that the fundraisers make sense for these hard economic times.  We have tried to consolidate and make them beneficial for all. 

The next PTO/Parent Meeting is scheduled for Friday, February 27th at 6:30 pm.  This will be a PTO Meeting/Movie Night.  This is a great way to participate in the PTO, while your children are having fun at movie night!  Your involvement is very important to the school.  The children benefit greatly from your input.  You won’t want to miss this meeting!
