PTO NEWSLETTERS

Dear Montessori School of Westfield Parents,

Holiday greetings from your PTO Board! We’ve had a great 2007! Thank you to everyone that has supported our fundraising efforts and to those parents that have volunteered and come to the PTO meetings. Our children are such a blessing and that is why the MSW PTO strives to do our best in raising money that will benefit their learning and overall well being.

We’ve just closed our Bittersweet Candle Sale fundraiser. From the look of things, we made approximately $750 for the PTO. Look for candles to arrive the week of 12/17. A BIG thank you to Allison Garber for heading up this fundraiser. We appreciate your time!

Our SCRIPT program continues and we’ve had great success with this so far! If you have gift cards in mind as holiday gifts, get your order in as soon as possible. Our last order for December will be Monday, December 10th. Forms are available via our website. We will resume ordering on Monday, January 7th.

The next fundraiser event will be launched in January. It will be the Little Caesars fundraiser. John Stephan will be leading this and we should have order forms out by January 14th . We will need volunteers to help pick up and sort on February 7th. Let John know at the next meeting if you would like to volunteer.

The next PTO/Parent Meeting is scheduled for Friday, February 1st at 6:30 pm. This will be a PTO Meeting/Movie Night. This is a great way to participate in the PTO, while your children are having fun at movie night! Watch for sign up in next month’s newsletter. Your involvement is very important to the school. The children benefit greatly from your input. You won’t want to miss this meeting!
