What Do Kids Say?
"In other schools, there are different groups.
We don't have to worry about that though, because basically
we are all the same." - Kevyn
"Because of the smaller class size and different
ages together, it gives you more experience working with children
at different levels." - Alicia
"I find it easier to learn here. If I don't
understand something, my teacher works with me personally
until I get it." - Nolan
WHAT DO PARENTS SAY?
"The Montessori experience has been incredibly rich
for our children. The overall philosophy, curriculum, materials,
and community building embrace their strengths, and support
them by building skills in other areas. The Montessori approach
has been instrumental in helping them to enjoy the intrinsic reward
of learning in the classroom, and beyond." - Carryn
"The Montessori School of Westfield has been a wonderful
experience for our family! Over the past 10 years I have watched
my child develop and grow. I can honestly say that my child
now has a strong sense of self. Montessori empowers children
to be individuals by teaching them to be truly thoughtful
and respectful of each other." - Karen
WHY MONTESSORI? Montessori offers an innovative academic program
organized into integrated studies throughout the classroom.
Literature, geography, art, and music all complement one another.
A Montessori Classroom is a child centered, not teacher centered
environment.
